What is Maintenance Free Fire Extinguisher?

Almost all fire extinguishers contain a mixture of aggressive substances that have the ability to corrode metals fast. The easiest way of avoiding this corrosion from damaging an extinguisher is to line extinguishers with molten plastic. Still, this process had its limitations since the lining can easily become separated from the wall and can become porous, so it can be inadequate in the first place. That’s why regular yearly inspections are very important.

However, P50 Maintenance-free extinguishers, contain the substances inside a three-layered extruded composite plastic container. These types of extinguishers, are installed by our certified engineers, and they will only be visually checked by our clients, so the P50 extinguishers must have extra safety features to guarantee that, for instance, the pressure indicator shows the status of the extinguisher properly. This can only be achieved with duplicate pressure indicators. Moreover, one of these pressure indicators is magnetic to prevent the free movement of the needle and if there are any doubts, it can be checked with a magnet.
